A WALK AROUND YORK | OCTOBER 2014 | PHOTOGRAPHY

York Minster
Spent a sunny October Saturday wandering around York. If you've got a spare afternoon it's well worth doing - lots of decent places to eat, easy to navigate, plenty of history,
and of course, home to the amazing National Railway Museum
(post on visit there, here)

Lots to photograph too...

Emperor Constantine, acclaimed as Emperor in York, 306AD
Haddock cake at the wonderful Mannion & Co
Sweets from Florence Wren
Flowers in the Yorkshire Museum Gardens
Inside The Perky Peacock
Lendal Bridge, over the River Ouse

TRAIN-ING DAY | NATIONAL RAILWAY MUSEUM YORK | PHOTOGRAPHY

Like trains? Of course you do.
& as so, there's no better place than the National Railway Museum in York.

It's home to the greatest train of all, the LNER Class A4 4468 Mallard plus The Rocket, a Japanese bullet train, various royal carriages, temporary exhibitions and lots more. It's, of course, worth a visit.

 Various photography below..

Liverpool Internation Festival Of Psychedelia 2014 | Camp and Furnace | PHOTOGRAPHY

Now in it's third year, Liverpool Psych Fest is firmly established itself as Europe's best showcase of new music that roughly falls under the description of 'modern psychedelia'. Or to be briefer, it's very ace.

Clash Music and Drowned In Sound, amongst others,  have already written pretty comprehensive reviews of the 2014 event so give them a read, this is more just a few photos & video taken across the weekend.

DJ'd for aA in The Camp on the Friday evening (video below) and outside in the Moroccan tent thing on the Saturday. Can't wait for 2015.

BUSES, BUSES & MORE BUSES | Musem of Transport | Cheetham Hill, Manchester

Went to have a look round the Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester yesterday, located in Cheetham Hill as part of a sprawling bus depot site. If you like examples of public transport from over the years in a variety of transport company liveries, it's pretty much a perfect place. Well worth a visit.
