HUDSON HOUSE | TOFT GREEN, YORK | JULY 2016

Chanced upon Hudson House whilst walking back to York Station after checking out Stonebow House. As is the fashion for 1960s buildings in 2016, it currently lives on under an awaited judgement of execution, some floors populated & some not. The inevitable business / retail / leisure beige 2.0 remix is coming soon

Originally an administrative building for the use of British Rail, Hudson House is quite unique in that it sits inside York's city walls, a marked contrast to the more traditional (& far less interesting) buildings you'd expect in York

Also, it's adjacent to a high point on the city walls which gives a different perspective to the normal 'starring up' I usually do of such buildings.
